With 9 horses initially, 7 horses reached the final of the the Belgian Championship for Young Horses which was an excellent result for our stud and we are proud to announce this.
Ridden by Claire, our two to five years Jisca Laubry (Kashmir x Chin Chin) and Jorlando of Laubry (Indoctro x Nabab de Rรจve) were admitted to the final after clear rounds and Jorlando de Laubry jumped the barrage as well.
Within the six years, Isis Laubry (Flipper d’Elle x Skippy II) confirmed her qualities with an excellent 2nd place at 62 hundredths of a second behind the winner.
Due to a small misunderstanding between Damien and promising mare Isabeau de Laubry (Cardento x Chin Chin) we unfortunately did not see this combination in the final.
With the four 7 years out of 40 horses in the final, we were well represented in the Belgian Cup. Between the 8 first places, Haras de Laubry horses was represented 3 times:
Histoire de Laubry (Chin Chin x Skippy II) finished on the 5th place and the stallion Hooligan Laubry (Clinton x Skippy II; having the same mother as Isis the Laubry) was eighth.
Hooligan Laubry already 12th in the semi-final was impressing the public by his exceptional qualities which make him a very promising stallion for breeding as wel as for sport.
The horse “Hallina The Muse” (Tinka’s Boy x Cordula the Laubry), which was fourth also thanks its origins at Haras de Laubry, namely from the mother Cordula the Laubry (For Pleasure x Darco X SkippyII).
